In 2016, Springhouse achieved the following accomplishments:
- 1ST PLACE in the Kutztown University REGIONAL Tournament
- 1ST PLACE in the Juniata College STATE Tournament
- 13TH PLACE in the Wright State University National Invitational Tournament
- 1ST PLACE in the Rustin National Invitational Tournament
- 12TH PLACE in the University of Wisconsin NATIONAL Tournament
This year, the head coaches made minor changes to the selection process. Due to the immense competition and interest in the Science Olympiad program at Springhouse, the school brought two teams, an A and B team, to invitationals. These teams were not split by skill level, but rather had an even distribution of students and their performances. Based on individuals' results (at invitationals and through periodic testing), the final team was selected.
