Sooraj Tharumia Hello! My name is Sooraj Tharumia and I am a junior at Parkland High School. I have been a member of the Science Olympiad program for the past 5 years, participating in both Division B and Division C. I am a national medalist in Road Scholar and Experimental Design, and I am a coach for Road Scholar for the Springhouse team. Looking at a science perspective as a whole, I enjoy physics, math, and computer science. I also aided in making this website! I am an avid supporter of aiding the younger generation’s growth in STEM, and I believe that helping to create an invitational will do just that. I look forward to helping create this invitational and am excited to make this a memorable experience! |
Jayaditya Kothari Hello! My name is Jayaditya Kothari, and I am a sophomore at Parkland High School. I have been a member of the Springhouse Science Olympiad for the past four years, and have received national medals in Road Scholar, Experimental Design, Density Lab, and Ping Pong Parachute. I am now the Experimental Design coach for the team. I am really interested in biology and chemistry and hope to pursue a career in medicine. Aside from STEM, I enjoy the outdoors and like to hang out with friends. I hope that this invitation will be a fun and a good learning experience for all! |
Aadhavan Raja Nainar Hi! My name is Aadhavan Raja, and I'm a sophomore at Parkland High School. I'm a current coach for Dynamic Planet and I’ve been involved in Science Olympiad for the past 3 years. I have placed at nationals in events such as Experimental Design, Digital Structures, Circuit Lab, and Boomilever. I have also been a part of a variety of others subjects, but my favorite areas of science include Physics and Chemistry. Other than Science Olympiad I am an Eagle Scout, and I enjoy playing Basketball. I am looking forward to help make our first in-person invitational as memorable as it can be. |
Samith Rohatgi Hello, my name is Samith Rohatgi, and I am a sophomore at Parkland High School. I have been a member of the Springhouse Science Olympiad for the last four years, and have participated in events such as Food Science, Crime Busters, and Mission Possible, with a focuse on Physics and Chemistry. I am interested in Computer Science and hope to pursue STEM. Aside from Science Olympiad, I enjoy being outside and playing tennis. I am hoping to make this invitational as fun and successful as it can be! |
Adarsh Narayanan Hello! My name is Adarsh Narayanan and I am currently a sophomore at Parkland High School. I participated in division B Science Olympiad for 4 years. Throughout these 4 years I participated in a variety of events that have helped me gain skills that will help in my future. I have always been interested in medicine and biology and participated in events such as Anatomy and Physiology, Bio Process, and Disease Detectives. Apart from Science Olympiad, I am an Eagle Scout at Troop 12, I play cricket and teach at my Sunday school. Wish you all the best at your events this year! |

Varsha Borkar Varsha Borkar is a senior at Parkland High School. She enjoys learning about all aspects of science, especially physics, engineering, and astronomy. She has been participating in Science Olympiad since she was in the 6th grade through the Springhouse Middle School Science Olympiad team. Since then, she has won many national-level medals for the team. She is now participating in Science Olympiad through Parkland High School. Other than learning about science, Varsha also enjoys dancing, singing, reading, and painting. |
Sanika Kothari My name is Sanika Kothari and I am a senior at Parkland High School. Having been a part of Science Olympiad for the past six years and counting, as a participant, coach, and organizing committee member, I have grown so much through this program and am excited to be a leader of this year's organizing committee. I have placed at states and nationals in middle school as a part of the Springhouse team and now am a member of my high school team. Throughout my Science Olympiad journey so far, I've made tons of great memories and hope to make this invitational memorable to all our participants this year! |
Evan Lan Hello! My name is Evan Lan and I am one of the Springhouse Middle School Invitational event supervisors. I am a current competitor in Division C of Science Olympiad and am fascinated with the biological and microscopic world around us, prompting my interest in Anatomy & Physiology and Heredity, the event I supervise. In my spare time, I enjoy biking and playing the violin. |
Varun Pandian Hello, my name is Varun and I am a Senior at Parkland High School. I participated in SMS Science Olympiad for four years. Through that time I learned major skills that helped me in my future. My favorite events were always physics related. I am always open to conversation and love giving back to the community. |

I am currently in the C Division, and volunteer on the SMS team in order to support the program.
